Role Description
The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Blida. The Video Editor will handle the end-to-end editing of event coverage, promotional, and corporate video projects, including cutting, sequencing, and refining footage. Daily responsibilities include applying color grading, adding sound effects and music, integrating motion graphics and titles, and preparing versions optimized for different platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with directors, designers, and content strategists to ensure each video aligns with brand guidelines and client objectives. The Video Editor will also manage media assets, maintain organized project files, and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling professional video projects from raw footage to final delivery
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to achieve consistent, high-quality visual styles across different types of content
- Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics, including creating and integrating titles, lower thirds, transitions, and simple visual elements
- Experience using industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar)
- Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and formats for web, social media, and broadcast distribution
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling, with attention to detail and visual consistency
- Ability to work on-site in Blida, collaborate within a creative team, and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Relevant training or degree in film, multimedia, communication, or a related field is beneficial; prior agency or production experience is a plus
