As a Project Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end procurement delivery for assigned projects throughout the complete project lifecycle, from bid phase and project handover through execution and close-out.
You will develop and manage project procurement strategies, plans, and schedules to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of engineered materials and services. Working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Legal, you will ensure procurement activities support project milestones while protecting safety, quality, delivery, cost, and contractual requirements.
How You'll Make an Impact
Project Procurement Management
Lead end-to-end procurement activities for assigned projects from bid phase through project execution and close-out.
Develop and execute project procurement plans aligned with project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and key milestones.
Define procurement package strategies and ensure alignment between technical, commercial, and project requirements.
Monitor procurement schedules and proactively address risks that could impact project execution.
Support Order Winning and bid-phase activities by developing competitive and executable procurement solutions.
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
Manage RFx processes, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP activities.
Coordinate technical and commercial bid evaluations with relevant stakeholders and prepare supplier award recommendations.
Lead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive commercial conditions, cost savings, and optimal Total Cost of Ownership.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to maximize supply-base performance.
Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and SAP4 readiness.
Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, compliance, and safety requirements.
Contract, Risk & Claims Management
Manage purchase orders and supplier contracts, including terms and conditions, scope alignment, documentation, and change control.
Identify and manage contractual and supplier risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage supplier claims, delays, non-conformances, variations, and liquidated damages in collaboration with Legal and Project Management.
Protect project contractual entitlements while minimizing commercial and schedule exposure.
Ensure procurement documentation provides a complete and accurate audit trail.
Project Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Legal teams.
Coordinate supplier quality requirements and support the resolution of non-conformances.
Ensure supplier documentation and certifications comply with project and regulatory requirements.
Support expediting activities to ensure materials and services are delivered according to project schedules.
Coordinate logistics and Incoterms requirements with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain clear communication and transparency across project teams and suppliers.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, supplier due diligence, export controls, sanctions, and sustainability requirements.
Support procurement digitalization and process improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and project execution.
Drive measurable cost savings while maintaining quality, delivery, safety, and customer requirements.
What You Bring
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum of 6 years of procurement experience within a project-based environment.
Proven experience procuring engineered products and/or technical services.
Strong experience managing procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience developing and executing project procurement strategies and procurement package plans.
Experience in international sourcing is strongly preferred.
Experience working in service, engineering, infrastructure, energy, or project businesses is highly desirable.
