Job Objective:

- Oversee the Groupement Reggane’s (GRN) IT (Information Technology) systems.

- Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the department. Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department. Organize preventative and corrective maintenance of the GRN’s IT systems, including planning, contracting, engineering, construction and commissioning activities from design to installation.

- Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching employees.

Responsibilities :

HSE Responsibilities:

- Comply with Groupement Reggane HSE policies and procedures.

- Awareness & commitment with the Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations as they apply to workplace safety and environmental aspects of ICT.

- Ensure compliance of Contractors with GRN HSE plans and requirements

CoordinateICT team activities:

- Implement team goals or objectives

- Supervise, train or guide team members

- Inspire and motivate team members

- Provide effective feedback

- Manage remote teams when necessary.

- Utilize technology effectively

- Be knowledgeable about each team members job role

- Responsible for the day-to-day ICT department activities and guidance of their team members.

- Ensure that all area members understand the team’s objectives and work together to achieve the area goals or objectives

- Provide effective feedback to Managers regarding ICT activities and objectives follow up

- Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the department to include staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals

- Responsible for staff scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.

- Responsible for maintaining ICT systems operational at all GRN locations:

- BdV, Base de Vie

- CPF (Central Processing Facilities)

- Rig sites

- OSBL Wells locations

- Manage, monitor, maintain and support of all ICT systems, Websites, PCs, operating systems, databases, telephones, radio and communications, software applications, and peripherals.

- Identify, relieve and coordinate solutions in the area of ICT systems to the requirements of the drilling and construction operations on site.

- Evaluate the requirements, design, implement and maintain the ICT infrastructure required to support the drilling operations activities on site.

- Coordinate and recommend the acquisition and/or contracting of services, equipment and materials of microcomputing, software, hardware and communications to support the operation activities.

- Define, implement and keep up to date GRN’s ICT policies and security standards as well as general procedures for physical and logical security.

- Develop and implement IT procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision

- Develop the necessary procedures, audits and controls to ensure optimal care of users regarding the ICT services and, according to the rules, policies and procedures.

- Coordinate and manage the ICT personnel team (local and expat), achieving better communication and fluency in daily activities.

- Coordinate with the service companies for the area of information systems, in order to ensure the support and availability of applications, hardware, software and communications at the camps, wellsites and temporary bases.

- Manage financial aspects of the GRN IT Department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.

- Coordinate the preparation of call for bids (CFB) documentation, Tender Evaluation specific procedures, and final Evaluation and recommendation to award reports in accordance with the GRN Contracting and Procurement Procedure.

- Perform work and make most project related decisions with high level of autonomy and independence.

- Coordinate with all discipline managers and foster good communication relating to ICT needs and support.

Requirements :

- Level: Senior

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in an Information Technology related field with one or more courses in current technology.

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT systems management; at least 5 years as IT support or design Manager

- Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of information technology computer systems and software and the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations. Experience with implementation of information technology integrations in a large division/company. Experience on the Oil and Gas industry (Exploration & Production Offshore and/or Onshore projects)

Languages:

- High Proficiency in spoken & written English (native) is a must

- Desirable fluent in spoken & written French

- Knowledge and understanding of Spanish language are an advantage
