About The Job
Implementation of the reliability strategy
- Develop and implement reliability and predictive maintenance strategies for critical equipment in order to improve plant performance
- Identify and assess risks related to equipment reliability and ensure that corrective actions are taken
Equipment monitoring and analysis
- Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) in the event of equipment failures and propose solutions to prevent recurrence
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) to measure equipment reliability
- Use condition monitoring tools and other predictive techniques to plan preventive maintenance actions
Maintenance optimization
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize the preventive maintenance program and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance tasks
- Improve maintenance processes and ensure the availability of critical spare parts
- Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) techniques and other continuous improvement tools
Continuous improvement and training
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to maximize equipment availability and minimize maintenance costs
- Train maintenance and production teams on best practices in equipment reliability
About you
Education
- Engineering degree in food science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or a related field
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or reliability, ideally in the food industry or a similar industrial environment
Technical skills
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems, RCA techniques, and failure analysis tools
Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and lead continuous improvement projects
