We're looking for a Project Operations Coordinator — Algeria
A company specialized in project logistics (Oil & Gas / Transportation sector) is looking for someone to join its Operations team in Algeria.
The role mainly involves overseeing customs clearance operations: coordinating with freight forwarders and customs agents, tracking shipments, managing the documentation needed for customs clearance, and making sure deadlines are met, particularly for urgent shipments.
Beyond the customs side, the role also involves real client relationship work: understanding their needs, staying responsive when issues come up, and flagging problems or areas for improvement to management. There's also a reporting and billing component, with regular tracking of service indicators.
What we're looking for:
- A graduate with at least 3 years of experience in a customer service environment, ideally with a background in transportation, logistics, or the Oil & Gas industry.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Good command of MS Office is also expected.
- The role calls for rigor, patience, the ability to juggle several things at once, and a willingness to work well in a team while also being able to work independently.
