Role Overview

Purpose of this role is to provide strategic financial leadership and business partnering, driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Ensure timely and correct execution of all finance (planning, reporting, cash) to maintain liquidity and optimum utilization of financial assets and guide management in their business decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering

- Partner with the General Manager and senior leadership to shape and execute business strategy.
- Deliver value-added financial insights to support decision-making and business growth.

Financial Planning, Analysis & Profitability

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Analyze profitability at customer and SKU level, providing actionable recommendations to drive margin improvement.
- Influence pricing strategies by leveraging profitability insights and market trends, collaborating with commercial teams to optimize pricing decisions.
- Prepare and present accurate, timely financial and management reports for local, divisional, and group requirements.
- Monitor and report on key financial and operational KPIs.

Working Capital Optimization & Cash Management

- Monitor inventory levels and optimize receivables and payables to ensure efficient working capital management and liquidity.
- Evaluate and recommend financing options to optimize working capital and support business objectives.
- Manage liquidity, cash flow, and banking activities to ensure adequate funding for business operations and investments.
- Monitor cash positions, financing requirements, and financial costs while optimizing working capital and funding structures.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and budgets, proactively identifying and addressing funding needs and cash flow risks.

Profitability, Cost Management & Analysis

- Drive cost optimization initiatives and margin improvement.
- Analyze profitability at customer and SKU level, providing actionable recommendations.

Risk Management & Compliance

- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks.
- Champion the AGRANA Fruit's Safety First culture and key management principles.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

- Select, lead, motivate, and develop employees within the finance and administration function.
- Promote and safeguard diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Develop succession plans and mentor future leaders.
- Set goals, targets and KPIs.
- Provide hands-on coaching and real-time learning opportunities within daily work.

Change Management

- Lead change initiatives across finance, administration, and systems.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or Finance.
- CPA qualification is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, gained either in a medium-sized company or through a combination of auditing firm experience and subsequent industry roles.
- Proven track record in strategic finance leadership/business partnering, preferably in international FMCG or manufacturing.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, with hands-on experience in FI (Financial Accounting), SD (Sales and Distribution), and ADM (Administration) modules.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills.
- Sound knowledge of banking techniques and banking operations.
- Basic IFRS, accounting and tax knowledge.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability.
- Fluent in English and French.
