Role Description
This full-time, on-site Dentist role is based at the clinic in Bir el-Djir. The Dentist will perform comprehensive examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans for a diverse patient population. Daily responsibilities include providing preventive care, restorative procedures (such as fillings, crowns, and extractions), and, where applicable, cosmetic treatments. The role also involves educating patients on oral hygiene, maintaining accurate clinical records, coordinating with dental assistants and hygienists, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The Dentist is expected to contribute to a positive patient experience and support the practice’s reputation for quality care in the community.
Qualifications :
- Recognized dental degree (DDS, DMD, or equivalent) and valid license or eligibility to practice dentistry in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proficiency in routine clinical dentistry, including examinations, diagnostics, preventive care, restorative procedures, and basic oral surgery.
- Strong patient-care skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to explain treatment options and preventive strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff.
- Commitment to infection control, clinical safety standards, and accurate documentation in patient records.
- Willingness to stay current with dental best practices, technologies, and continuing education requirements.
- Prior experience in a general dental practice or clinical setting is preferred.
